About the Role
As a key member of the Emirates Ground Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all ramp activities to ensure a smooth, secure, and on-time aircraft turnaround. This includes coordinating with Ground Service Providers (GSPs), airport authorities, and internal teams to uphold the high standards of Emirates Airlines’ operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Manage all ramp activities and ensure GSP readiness with required resources in place for safe operations.
- Supervise aircraft servicing, including loading/unloading, adhering to Emirates’ Precision Timing Schedules.
- Liaise with internal departments and third-party vendors to ensure full compliance with Emirates’ safety and operational procedures.
Service Level Management
- Monitor and audit Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for airport service partners.
- Create and analyze performance reports to improve operational efficiency and quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Emirates’ manuals and GSP procedures.
- Identify compliance risks and take preventive or corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and participate in external audits and maintain proper documentation through systems like Coruson and QPulse.
Incident Management
- Investigate safety-related irregularities and coordinate with departments including Group Safety and Flight Operations.
- Promote a transparent safety culture that encourages proactive issue reporting and continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
- Minimum: 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in Ground Operations, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity handling wide-body aircraft.
Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of ramp handling procedures, load control, and documentation.
- Trained in Dangerous Goods Regulations (Category 10).
- Proficient in ALTEA or similar systems.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluent in both English and the local language (as applicable).
