Key Responsibilities

As Sr Manager, Corporate Accounting, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Coordinating the creation and submission of financial statements, compliance documents, and footnotes.
  • Reviewing journal vouchers and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Overseeing compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
  • Leading the implementation of changes in financial reporting standards and advising senior leadership.
  • Monitoring developments from the SEC, FASB, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Providing accounting insights during mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by ensuring timely submission of reports and documentation.
  • Maintaining the integrity of financial systems such as SAP and Hyperion.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • CPA certification
  • At least 7 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or Tier II) or in a public company’s financial reporting team

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or MBA in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with SAP General Ledger and Hyperion Financial Management tools
  • Prior managerial experience in accounting or finance

Required Skills

  • CPA license (active)
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Capable of interpreting technical accounting literature and applying it practically
