Job Overview
Air France-KLM’s IT division is looking for a motivated and tech-savvy apprentice project manager to support the development and deployment of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) solutions within its Maintenance Division. This department supports over 8,500 employees responsible for maintaining the Air France fleet.
Main Responsibilities
As part of the Virtual Reality Lab, you will:
- Promote VR/AR technologies within the company through product demonstrations and internal events.
- Identify and develop innovative VR/AR use cases such as:
- Training tools for employees
- Enhancing aircraft maintenance operations
- Showcasing new aviation products
- Support the Lab Manager in organizing and managing innovation-related events.
- Conduct benchmarks and market research on VR use in aviation and related industries.
- Map out key players in the French and global VR market.
- Provide technical support for VR equipment, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of VR headsets, PCs, and software.
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s level program (Bac+4/+5) in IT, engineering, or multimedia.
- Strong interest in innovation and the aviation sector.
- Good knowledge of VR technology (headsets, platforms, and software).
- Passionate about new technologies and their application in professional environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Rigorous, analytical, and organized.
- Creative, curious, and autonomous.
- Skills in VR content development are a plus.
Contract Details
- Type of contract: Apprenticeship / Work-study (Alternance)
- Duration: 12 to 24 months
- Preferred start date: 01 September 2025
