Are you passionate about air freight and data analytics? Do you want to work in a fast-moving international environment where your insights will directly impact strategic decisions? Air France-KLM Cargo, with over €3 billion in annual revenue and 500,000+ tonnes of freight transported across 300+ global destinations, is looking for a Data Analyst & Project Manager (M/F) to join its Operational Performance unit.
Your Role – A Strategic Data-Driven Position
You will work in a high-performing team of 5 data analysts and 2 business analysts, contributing to decision-making and performance optimization for the cargo division.
Data Analysis & Analytics (60%)
Data Collection & Interpretation: Gather and test data from various sources to extract relevant insights.
Dashboard Creation: Build automated reporting tools and dashboards to monitor performance across departments.
Quantitative Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis and advise top management on strategic improvements.
Tool Maintenance: Ensure the reliability of existing tools and implement improvements as needed.
Project Management (40%)
Data Needs Management: Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to deliver new datasets and resolve technical issues.
Business Process Understanding: Observe and analyze operations to design performance indicators that reflect actual business needs.
Candidate Profile – Are You the Right Fit?
Education & Expertise
Master’s degree from a top engineering school, with a focus on Data, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
Advanced technical skills in:
- ETL tools, Business Objects
- Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire)
- Database querying using SQL
Language & Analytical Abilities
- English Level: C1 (Confirmed) with a TOEIC score of 950+ within the last 2 years.
- Strong interest in statistics, data-driven decision-making, and on-ground validation.
Soft Skills
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to improve processes independently.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills—excellent team player and project manager.
- Genuine interest in the air freight sector and commitment to improving performance using data.
