As an IT Business Analyst (m/f/d) in our Frankfurt office, you’ll play a vital role in aligning business needs with IT capabilities. You’ll be responsible for requirement management, process optimization, compliance oversight, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key advisor to business units and application owners on IT-related topics.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
- Draft functional specifications and develop detailed user stories.
- Support system implementations, user acceptance testing, and training.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards (e.g., ISO 27001) and assist with audits.
- Manage external IT service providers, including SLA performance tracking.
- Oversee IT asset and license management, including budgeting and planning.
- Participate in strategic IT projects and contribute to long-term IT planning.
- Provide support in technical procurement and administrative IT processes.
Your Profile
You have a university degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) or ITIL are a plus.

- Strong knowledge of IT requirements engineering and system specification.
- Experience in managing external IT service providers.
- Familiarity with IT compliance, including ISO 27001 and data protection standards.

- Skilled in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical and structured approach to work.
- Strong communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of self-initiative, reliability, and accountability.
- Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
- Experience in software development, technical procurement, and contract management is an advantage.
