About the Role: Manager Communications & Internal Events
As Manager Communications & Internal Events, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing internal events and communication campaigns. This position focuses on building employee engagement, managing communication materials, and fostering two-way communication across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan internal events from concept to execution, tailored to target audiences and business goals.
- Create compelling proposals for internal event requests and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure timely delivery, service quality, and budget compliance.
- Manage Etihad’s internal supplier database and maintain supplier relationships.
- Oversee the development of communication materials for events, including presentations and intranet content.
- Collaborate with internal departments, executives, and content owners for seamless communication.
- Support corporate communication during emergency or disruption scenarios.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in the Manager Communications & Internal Events role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or qualification in Event Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications or event management.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to write under pressure.
- Strong understanding of digital and traditional communication channels.
- Effective negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and presentation quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when needed.
