Responsibilities of the First Officer – Aer Lingus UK Manchester
- Operate flights in accordance with Aer Lingus UK safety and operational procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of flight safety and passenger experience.
- Support passengers by resolving queries and issues during flights.
- Cooperate closely with cockpit and cabin crew to ensure efficient flight operations.

Requirements for First Officer – Aer Lingus UK Manchester Base
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Eligible to live and work in the UK without restrictions
- Valid UK ATPL or frozen ATPL (f)
- A320 or A330 type rating (CCQ available for eligible A320 pilots with 2,500+ hours)
- Valid LPC on start date
- Ability to obtain a US visa (required for transatlantic travel)
- Fluent English with ELP level 5 or higher
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overnights
- Able to report to Manchester Airport within 120 minutes while on standby
- Must pass a five-year background check and airport security clearance
