Role Overview: Head of Commercial
As the Head of Commercial at dnata Singapore, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across key services including Ground Handling and Cargo. You will bridge commercial and technical functions, ensuring that our services align with evolving customer expectations and industry demands.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Complex Negotiations: Manage and secure high-value contracts with a focus on delivering quality service over commoditization.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-standing relationships with clients, government authorities, stakeholders, and strategic partners to enhance dnata’s reputation locally and globally.
- Customer Experience Leadership: Monitor and improve Net Promoter Scores and Customer Satisfaction metrics to ensure continuous service enhancement.
- Team Development: Guide and develop the Commercial team in Singapore, fostering a culture of performance, ownership, and excellence.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure legal, corporate, and policy frameworks are adhered to, safeguarding brand reputation and stakeholder interests.
- Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for dnata in Singapore, representing the company at events, official meetings, and public engagements.
Required Qualifications and Experience for Head of Commercial – dnata Singapore (Full-Time, Permanent Role)
To qualify for this opportunity, you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree, professional certification, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Significant experience in an operational or commercial leadership role within the aviation or logistics industry.
- Strong business acumen, leadership capabilities, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven experience managing products for multiple clients in a high-pressure environment.
- Advanced negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- The ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with IATA standard contracts.
- Leadership training or certifications focused on negotiation or commercial strategy.
